Overview
What Nuts & Seeds Are You Packing?
From almonds and peanuts to pistachios, cashews, sunflower seeds and mixed nuts, different products require different feeding, weighing and packaging configurations. FRONTECH helps you select the right solution based on product characteristics, filling weight, bag type and production capacity.

Whole nuts
Almonds, cashews, peanuts and pistachios. Gentle feeding and accurate weighing help reduce breakage and maintain consistent filling.

Seeds & small pieces
Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and small nut pieces. Stable feeding and high-precision weighing ensure reliable performance.

Mixed nuts
Mixed nuts and dried fruit blends. multiple feeding and weighing configurations to achieve the required mixing ratio and filling weight.
Choose Your Package Type
Choose from premade pouches, roll-film bags and vacuum packaging according to your product, shelf presentation and production requirements.

Stand-up & zipper pouches
Premade pouches provide attractive retail presentation and convenient resealing. Suitable for rotary premade pouch packing machines with compatible zipper opening systems.

Pillow & gusset bags
VFFS machines form, fill and seal bags directly from roll film, providing an efficient solution for nuts and seeds in different pack sizes, also with different bag formats.

Mixed zipper pouch
Zipper pouches is also suitable for nuts and seeds. Product characteristics, bag materials and compression resistance should be evaluated before machine selection.
Popular packaging solutions for nuts & seeds
These are configuration guides. Output and filling performance must be confirmed with your product and bag samples.

Rotary premade pouch system
Typical configuration: elevator, multihead weigher and rotary pouch machine. Suitable for compatible stand-up and zipper pouches.

VFFS weighing packing system
Typical configuration: elevator, multihead weigher and vertical form-fill-seal machine. Forms bags from a roll of film.

Mixed nuts ceral packing system
With multiple weighing system, is available for nuts and cereals. Product natures, bag materials should be evaluated before machine selection.
Complete Nuts & Seeds Packaging Line Working Steps
FRONTECH provides integrated weighing and packaging lines for nuts and seeds, from product feeding and accurate dosing to bag sealing, inspection and finished-pack discharge, metal detecting, finished weight checking etc.

Feed
Product feeding hopper → Z-type infeed conveyor smoothly transport the products to the top, with level sensor control, automatic feeding.

Dose
The high-precision weighing system accurately weighs products to target weights, offering high speed and reliable performance.

Fill & seal
The weighed product is transferred to a rotary premade pouch or VFFS packing machine for automatic filling and sealing.

Discharge
Finished bags will be automatically discharged by the conveyor to the next steps, the discharge conveyor speed adjustable.

Metal detect
Metal detecting is necessary for most of the food product industrial, to ensure the finish product is safe in the market.

Check weight
An automatic checkweigher verifies the weight of each finished package and rejects products outside the specified weight range.
Nitrogen flushing, vacuum packing and degassing are different processes. Any shelf-life objective needs validation using the actual product, packaging material and storage conditions.

Nuts & Seeds Packaging Machine FAQs
Find answers to common questions about nuts and seeds packaging machines, weighing accuracy, product handling, production capacity and customized packaging solutions.
Can one machine pack several types of nuts?
Often, within its configured weight and bag ranges. Changes in bulk density, piece size and surface condition may require new settings, change parts or feeding trials.
How can we reduce product breakage?
Review drop heights, elevator design and transfer points. Fragile products should be tested through the proposed feeding and weighing route.
Can you pack a controlled nut mix?
A pre-mixed product can segregate during conveying. If each ingredient needs a defined proportion, discuss separate feeding and dosing before specifying the line.
What determines the packing speed?
Product flow, fill weight, bag dimensions, sealing time and optional processes all affect output. A final figure should be based on the selected configuration and trial conditions.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send product photos, a sample bag or drawing, target weight, desired output, power supply and factory layout. Mention nitrogen flushing, vacuum or inspection requirements where applicable.
